Marc Muench is a professional landscape and wildlife photographer. He is preceded by his father, David Muench, and grandfather, Joseph Muench. Marc has spent a lifetime seeking composition, light, and decisive moments in the outdoor world. His life is now devoted to teaching others how important these concepts are in their quest to learn photography.

Marc’s work is inspired by the time he spent in the field throughout his childhood, traveling with his family to most of the National Parks, Wildlife preserves, and Wildernesses throughout the US. Marc’s commercial and personal work focused on the largely undeveloped landscape as a theme.

Marc, and a team of instructors share decades of experience photographing landscapes and cities all over the world, and through the years have discovered the best times, vantage points, and hidden sites that only the most dedicated explorers ever see. We also collaborate with on-the-ground local guides who live and breathe these locations, arranging for exclusive access to areas normally off-limits to tourists.
